4 Dumbbell Exercises That Can Give You a Sexy Waist

Side dumbbell bends – Hold the dumbbell in the left hand and stand upright and keep the right hand at the waist. Now lean the waist left side with the help of dumbbell and then stand up straight. Do the same with right hand. Do two sets of 20-20.

Abdominal Crunches – Crunch the dumbbells in both hands. Excess weight creates more resistance and helps to tone the core muscles. Do three sets of 15-15.

Bent-Over Row – Hold the dumbbell in both hands and stand with legs slightly wider. While bending the knee, tilt your torso forward so that an angle of 45 degrees is made. Stay in this position for a few seconds and come back to the first position. Make it a set of 20.

Wood Chop – Wood Chop is a tremendous exercise like your ablix ( obliques) and affects the upper abdomen as well as keeps your heart rate high. It makes the muscles of the stomach strong and makes the back strong. Fitness expert Roshni Shah explains how to perform this exercise properly.

• Stand (in a comfortable position) with a slight gap between your legs.

• Raise the dumbbell with both your hands. And move towards the right shoulder. You can use a 2 to 4.5 kg dumbbell or a midicinal ball.

• Move the dumbbell down while bending over your hips. Rotate the dumbbell in such a way that it is on the outside of your left knee.

• Now get back to the old position to complete a round.

• Repeat this 15-15 times in 3 sets, exercising it from right and left side.
