Corona Update : Railway Platform Tickets Prices Increased to Reduce Congestion

Rajesh Kumar, chief public relations officer of East Central Railway, said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay The platform ticket price has now been increased to Rs 50 at Pandindayal Upadhyay Junction, Gaya, Sasaram, Dehri on Son, Anugraha Narayan Road and Bhabhua Road station. He clarified that this is a temporary increase, which will remain in force till 15 April.


Kumar said that earlier on Tuesday, the price of platform tickets at 13 railway stations of Danapur Railway Division was raised from Rs 10 to Rs 50. He informed that platform tickets will continue to be available at all other stations for Rs. 10 as before. He said the reason for this price increase is to reduce congestion on the platforms of the station.
